AirVue

An IoT and AI-based lung health monitoring concept that helps users check respiratory conditions through a portable spirometry device connected to a mobile app.

Problem

Regular lung checks are often costly, time-consuming, and intimidating, causing high-risk demographics (like passive smokers) to underestimate their respiratory health.

My Contribution

I stepped out of my engineering comfort zone to drive the User Research phase. I crafted User Personas and Empathy Maps by directly interviewing high-risk individuals. I translated these anxieties into a calming, high-fidelity Figma prototype and formulated business validation through Perceptual Mapping.

Impact

Turned a complex medical concern into an accessible product concept that combines IoT hardware, health monitoring, and preventive user education.

Lesson Learned

The most advanced technology is useless if the user is afraid to use it. Good products begin with deep user empathy.
